Job summary

Proclinical Group seeks a Crimp Technician (contract) in Irvine, CA, to join the medical device manufacturing team. You will perform production assembly, operate and maintain equipment, and uphold GMP and quality standards in a hands-on environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or associate degree, English proficiency, and experience with manufacturing instrumentation. Prior robotics/automation exposure is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or associate degree.
Proficiency in English for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and gauge blocks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience in manufacturing, especially discrete assembly/ robotics, is preferred.
Knowledge of automated machines, tools, and production processes.
Basic arithmetic, algebra, or geometry.
Root cause analysis/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and perform minor repairs on equipment while following safety and quality standards.
Monitor raw material feeds, clear stoppages, and address faults on automated equipment.
Use HMIs to identify and correct process control shifts.
Prepare raw materials and ensure timely execution to meet schedules.
Troubleshoot mechanical errors or safety issues using provided tools.
Use computer systems for material inventory and quality management.
