Job summary

Rockingham County, NH seeks a criminal prosecutor to serve in the Superior Court. The Assistant County Attorney researches pertinent case law, drafts indictments, complaints, and pleadings, and presents investigations and cases to the Grand Jury, conducting Bench and Jury trials and all required hearings related to the caseload.

The role requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the New Hampshire Bar.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
• Must be admitted into the New Hampshire Bar Association.

Responsibilities

• Research pertinent case law, draft indictments, complaints & pleadings, and present investigations and cases to the Grand Jury.
• Conduct Bench trials and Jury trials, and all required hearings related to assigned caseload.
• Collaborate with victim/witness coordinators, police, and court staff to ensure proper information, preparation, and support for victims and witnesses.
