Job summary

The City Of Goodyear is seeking an experienced legal support professional to coordinate criminal case administration, manage discovery, and prepare court documents. You will liaise with courts, law enforcement, and justice partners to ensure compliance and timely prosecution operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent and relevant certification may be required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a related field.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to become ACJIS certified (in Prosecution).
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents, motions, pleadings, contracts, and statutes.
• Ability to write legal documents, motions, pleadings, memorandums, and contracts.
• Ability to follow SOPs and exercise independent judgment in prioritizing duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate criminal case administration and discovery processes.
• Prepare legal documents and court filings.
• Collaborate with courts, law enforcement, and justice partners.
