The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is seeking a full-time Assistant Attorney General for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Oklahoma City. This role focuses on criminal enforcement against health care providers defrauding Medicaid and may involve drafting filings, investigations, discovery, and trial work in collaboration with federal partners.

Qualifikationen

Applicants must be licensed attorneys in the State of Oklahoma with prosecutorial experience.
Strong writing, research, oral advocacy, and organization skills, as well as superior attention to detail.
All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a background investigation.

Aufgaben

Prosecute abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation in long-term care facilities and Medicaid patients.
Prosecute fraud in the Medicaid system.
Collaborate with Federal partners on investigations and prosecutions.
Draft, issue, and file documents such as Subpoenas and Informations.
Prepare Probable Cause Affidavits and Search Warrants with agents.
Prepare and submit exclusion documentation.
Conduct criminal discovery and motion practice.
Attend hearings and trials as needed.
Network with federal and state counterparts and represent the Office in joint enforcement actions.
