The State of Oklahoma's Office of the Attorney General seeks a licensed attorney to join the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit as Assistant Attorney General I/II/III in Oklahoma City.

This full-time, regular position focuses on criminal enforcement actions against health care fraud and abuse within the Medicaid program. You will prosecute cases, draft filings, work with federal partners, and appear in court as needed, under an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be licensed attorneys in Oklahoma with prosecutorial experience.
• Strong writing, research, oral advocacy, and organization skills are required.
• All applicants must agree to a background investigation and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation in long-term care and Medicaid systems.
• Prosecute Medicaid fraud in coordination with federal partners.
• Draft, issue, and file subpoenas and informations; conduct criminal discovery and motion practice.
• Represent the Office in investigations and prosecutions, including hearings and trials as needed.
• Coordinate with federal and state counterparts and provide outreach as required.
