Qualifications

• 2+ years of criminal defense or prosecution paralegal experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep every case file organized and current from intake through disposition.
• Track court dates, filing deadlines, and speedy-trial windows.
• Request, review, and organize discovery and flag important items for the attorney.
• Prepare and e-file pleadings and motions ahead of deadlines.
• Build trial notebooks and support attorneys in court.
• Be the client’s point of contact between hearings and relay updates.
• Coordinate with bond companies, jails, and pretrial services on custody status.
