Job summary

King Law Offices, PC is seeking an Associate Attorney to start the day reviewing emails, returning client communications, and coordinating with a case manager for court or meeting preparation.

You will handle client consultations, court appearances, and ongoing case management from start to finish, with support from mentors and a dedicated team. A North Carolina bar license and strong research, writing, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice in North Carolina in good standing.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new client consultations and evaluate potential cases.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, depositions, and hearings.
• Research legal issues and prepare cases for court proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Manage assigned cases to ensure timely progress and resolution.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
• Collaborate with case managers and team members on workflow.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with firm procedures.
• Provide high-level customer service and client experience.
• Navigate cases from initial consultation through resolution.
