The incumbent will plan and teach courses, use LMS tools, advise students, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining student records and supporting College missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Four years of relevant instructional experience.
• Experience with DELJIS, LEISS, and other criminal justice systems is preferred.
• Full-time instructors must complete the NFDP during the one-year probationary period to ensure understanding of the College’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and instructs courses as assigned, using LMS and engaging instructional strategies to promote student success.
• Demonstrates best practices in instruction and classroom management to address diverse student needs.
• Uses instructional technology to meet learning objectives and enhance outcomes.
• Assists or leads in curriculum development and program assessment as assigned, including program review.
• Maintains adequate and timely student records and reports progress and attendance.
• Provides minimum six posted student hours per week and advises students as assigned.
• Works with colleagues to support College operations and strategic goals.
