Ogeechee Technical College seeks a Faculty, Criminal Justice instructor in Statesboro, GA to deliver courses and advise students. Responsibilities include planning weekly activities aligned with outcomes, finalizing syllabi, and managing Blackboard for online and traditional modalities.
The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in criminal justice, strong communication, and at least three years of paid work or teaching experience in the field. Travel to approved sites may be required.

General responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees, work experience, and The Commission on Colleges and University (Formerly SACSCOC) Faculty Credential Guidelines. The successful candidate may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online). The successful candidate may be required to travel to and teach classes at any Ogeechee Technical College location or oversee student learning experiences at approved clinical sites.
All positions require a pre-employment criminal background investigation, education, and employer/professional reference checks. Some positions may additionally require a motor vehicle record search, credit history check, and/or drug screen. All male applicants between the ages of 18 and 26 years of age must present proof of Selective Service Registration. Copies of all transcripts should be submitted at the time of application for faculty positions. Official transcripts are required to be submitted to HR upon acceptance of a written job offer.

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
