Under the direction of the CJIS Manager I and the Planning and Policy Administrator, this position assists with projects related to the Applicant Services Unit (ASU) to include the State of Florida Applicant Fingerprint Retention and Notification Program (AFRNP), Next Generation Identification (NGI) Federal Rap Back Program, and other regulatory agency specific projects. The incumbent in this position will serve as a subject matter expert for the following applications: Civil Workflow Control System (CWCS), SHIELD, CCHInet, Volunteer Employee Criminal History Services (VECHS), Florida Shared School Results (FSSR), and FALCON. Additionally, this position provides research analysis relative to state and national laws, rules and regulations that directly or indirectly have an impact on the dissemination of criminal justice data or information. This position works independently and in teams to accomplish objectives established in the section's Strategic Plan and consults with other governmental agencies to evaluate their information needs and capabilities. This position must meet and maintain NCIC/FCIC certification as required by the FCIC Basic Training Manual.

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
