Job summary

Florida Department of Law Enforcement is seeking a temporary analyst to research criminal justice databases for accuracy and compliance with state and federal requirements. You will independently review information, apply disqualifiers, and maintain the security of departmental databases while coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies.

The role involves recommending on firearms transaction decisions and working under the Criminal Justice Information Services Manager to ensure data

Qualifications

Knowledge of the criminal justice system and data collection methods.
Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Ability to operate computers and office equipment independently.
Knowledge of NCIC/FCIC certification requirements and CJIS security.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external agencies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
