Responsibilities
  • Providing protection for various protectees.
  • Conducting criminal investigations related to U.S. financial obligations.
  • Planning and implementing security for National Special Security Events.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to carry and use a firearm; firearm proficiency is mandatory.
  • Age between 21 and 37 at the time of conditional offer, with exceptions for certain veterans.
  • Top Secret Clearance required and must be maintained.
  • Uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100; corrected visual acuity 20/20 or better.
  • Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in relevant frequency ranges.
  • Pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.
  • Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks at James J. Rowley Training Center.
  • Willingness to accept assignments nationwide and abroad.
  • Registration with the Selective Service System if applicable.
