Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Four years’ experience as a law enforcement officer, investigator preferred.
• Firearms annual qualification proficiency standards.
• Ability to write intelligible and complete reports and exercise good judgment; respond quickly in emergencies; build relationships with courts, public and staff.
• Must have English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must pass physical, psychological exams, drug screen, and background check; no felony convictions.
• Must have valid New Mexico driver’s license.
