Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in law enforcement and investigations.
• Minimum age 21.
• Must possess Georgia POST certification.
• Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Accountability Court program's mission; participate in trainings and conferences.
• Provide information regarding a participant's fitness to participate based on criminal history; assist in court planning.
• Execute bench warrants and serve court orders within five days.
• Transport participants to Fulton County Jail, Accountability Court, housing, or placements as needed.
• Act as liaison between Accountability Court and other agencies; educate on program importance.
• Conduct field breathalyzer and drug testing; collect specimens for lab testing.
• Monitor participants in the community: caseloads, home visits, curfews, ankle monitors, and surveillance devices.
• Provide assistance and support to participants to encourage success.
• Support Sheriff’s Office and Strategic Enforcement Unit operations; perform related duties.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification

Valid Georgia driver's license
