Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Criminal Defense Attorney or similar role.
• Licensed to practice law in the state.
• Proven experience in court trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Proficiency in legal research, legal writing, and drafting legal documents.
• Knowledge of criminal law, rules of evidence, and procedural law.
• Excellent negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual ability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue for the prosecution in criminal cases.
• Conduct legal research to gather information for cases, analyze legal data, and interpret laws and rulings.
• Prepare and draft contracts, depositions, pleadings, appeals, and motions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advise on legal rights.
• Examine legal data to determine the advisability of defending lawsuits.
• Manage multiple cases from inception to resolution and ensure timely proceedings.
• Participate in hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and client meetings.
• Develop strategies and arguments for case presentations.
• Guide clients through the legal process, explaining the law, rights, and options.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and other parties involved.

Responsibilities
