Qualifications
- Virginia State Bar license active and in good standing.
- Proven trial and courtroom experience.
- 5+ years in criminal law is a plus.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in criminal matters from intake through trial.
- Conduct consultations with potential new clients.
- Handle a diverse caseload, including misdemeanors and felonies.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with the legal team and support staff to ensure successful outcomes.
