Qualifications

• Experience in statistical analysis or criminal justice data analysis in a law enforcement or public sector environment.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with emphasis on statistical analysis or mathematical modeling.
• Certificate from the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) or Certified Crime and Intelligence Analyst (CCIA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides crime trend analysis and supports detectives as needed.
• Compiles and analyzes data from crime reports, bulletins, and other law enforcement sources.
• Develops maps and spatial analyses for crime data and hot spots.
• Manages investigative resources and participates in planning an Active Intelligence Center.
