Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a detail‑oriented Materials Handler to support daily production in Highland Park, MI. You will dispense production materials, pre‑stage stock, verify packing slips, and maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Duties include cycle counts, flagging minimums, receiving and storing items, tracking costs by cost centers, and assisting in safety audits. Basic computer skills are required for spreadsheets and documents.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1–3 years minimum experience in the automotive industry.
• Flexible, versatile with good organizational and self-management skills.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Dispense production materials and maintain transaction log.
• Pre-stage production material and keep work area safe and organized.
• Verify packing slips and sign-off per procedures.
• Perform cycle counts daily and flag parts at minimums.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment; receive and store incoming items.
• Track material costs to predefined Cost Centers and assist in cost reporting.
• Support safety audits, track audit closure, and assist in incident reviews.

• Dispense production materials to manufacturing and maintain transaction log.
• Pre‑stage production material and maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Verify packing slips and sign‑off per procedures.
• Perform cycle counts daily, flag part numbers at minimums.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
• Track material costs to pre-defined Cost Centers..
• Safe auditing, track audit closure, participate in incident reviews and write or assist in problem analysis report process and aid in corrective action closure.
• Communicate safety information as necessary and participate in safety meetings and activities.
• Distribute incoming package as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
