Overview:

Provides secure client transportation to TMBHC and CRMC and provides supervision and care in accordance with professional staff direction and Central Receiving Facility (CRF) procedures. Ensures unit safety and assists clients in activities of daily living. Provides supportive contact with clients.

ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervises clients while transporting clients from the CRF and constantly ensures safety. Ensures a secure hand-off to the receiving facility.
2. Completes travel log thoroughly for each trip. Keeps vehicle clean and fueled. Turns in gas receipts according to procedure. Reports any problems with the vehicle to the Maintenance Department immediately.

Shifts: 7:30am-8:00pm, 12 hour Day

7:30pm-8:00am, 12 hour Night

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• A High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in an inpatient setting, preferred.

Licensure or Certification:

• Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must possess current, valid driver’s license and maintain Apalachee Designated Auto Driver status.
