Job summary

WBI Energy, Inc. seeks a skilled field worker to assist welders and construction crews in building and maintaining pipeline, compressor, production, gathering and storage facilities in Montana. The role requires travel with overnight stays and adherence to DOT and safety protocols.

You will perform construction and maintenance tasks, respond to emergencies, and work overtime as needed. A high school diploma is required, with preferred associate degree and knowledge of welding processes.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalency.
• Basic knowledge of welding processes and layout or general construction.
• Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver's license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card).

Job description

Safely assist welders and construction crew with construction and maintenance of company pipeline, compressor, production, gathering and storage facilities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalency.
• Basic knowledge of welding processes and layout or general construction.
• Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver's license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Must be legally authorized to work in United States, no sponsorships considered.
• Subject to pre-employment background check and drug testing.
• Subject to the company DOT substance abuse testing program.
• Travel with overnight stays.
• Must be able to be certified to wear respirator if required to perform work.
• Must pass all requirements to become DOT operator qualified in assigned tasks.
• Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge in natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities, processes and operations skills.
• Associate degree in an industrial or mechanical related field.

Wage: $31.62 per hour
