As a team we are eager to bring aboard a motivated individual eager to further develop their leadership skills by supporting our general manager and assistant manager as a Sandwich Maker at our Paris Baguette in Ladera Ranch. Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with your co-workers and managers that create a fun, positive environment for learning and working as a team.
- Impress guests by providing a warm friendly interaction, maintaining a clean environment, and going out of your way to make sure they leave happy!
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, dressings, and sauces.
- Assist guests with inquiries in a manner that supports, educates, and offers products that may enhance a customer's experience.
- Ensure sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers.
- Eager to learn about our products, specialty menu items, and all things coffee.
- Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
- Order product and materials as necessary.
- Maintain daily par levels and restock station orders.
- Operate POS system (Toast) and perform tasks such as cash handling and credit card processing with accuracy.
- Care for your safety and that of your teammates by following and maintaining Paris Baguette and DND Groups standards and policies.
- Maintain a tidy environment.
- Conduct bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessments.
- Clean and sanitize refrigerator, freezer, storage areas, work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils, and dishes.
- Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
- Work specific stations as needed, including:
- Barista: Create expertly crafted brewed goods for our guests.
- POS: Interact with guests, creating a warm and welcoming bakery café experience.
- Greeter: Offer a warm welcome to guests and direct them appropriately.
- Merchandiser: Re-stock products and ensure displays are aesthetically pleasing.
- Pick-Up Specialist: Ensure all pickup and delivery orders are prepared and fulfilled in a timely manner.
Skills/Qualifications
- The ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges, stand for long periods, work around possible allergens, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Positivity, eagerness to learn, a friendly disposition, and the ability to contribute in a team environment are critical.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
- Basic math and reading skills, and the ability to follow directions.
- Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED or some college preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- High sense of integrity and ownership.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Point of Sale systems, currently Toast, with an understanding of cash handling and transaction accuracy.
