Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Hardscape Crew Member to join our Laytonsville, MD team. This role focuses on general landscape construction, including concrete and paver work, under site superintendents’ guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with installation, cutting materials to spec, and performing related tasks as needed. The company offers year‑round employment with competitive wages and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape construction duties as directed by site superintendents.
• Use hand tools for installation and finishing of concrete and pavers.
• Cut pavers and concrete to specs and blueprints as needed.
• Set forms and install reinforcement for concrete and pavers.
• Place concrete into formwork and finish per textures.
• Install pedestal, permeable and traditional sand bed pavers.
• Operate equipment to level surfaces and move materials on site.
• Perform landscape installations as required.

• Perform general Landscape Construction and landscape duties as directed by site Superintendents
• Utilize various hand tools for proper installation and finishing of concrete and pavers (floats, trowels, screeds)
• Perform functions such as cutting pavers and concrete to adhere to specs and blueprints
• Properly perform all tasks associated with prep and installation of concrete and or pavers (setting forms to proper layout, proper installation of rebar, pour and finish techniques
• Place concrete into formwork and finish according to specified textures
• Install various paver systems such as pedestal pavers, permeable and traditional sand bed pavers
• Operate equipment to level and prep work area and move materials on the job site
• Perform landscape installations when necessary
• Perform various other duties assigned

• Realizar funciones como cortar adoquines y concreto para cumplir con las especificaciones y planos
• Realizar adecuadamente todas las tareas asociadas con la preparación e instalacion de concreto y/o adoquines (establecimiento de formas para el diseño adecuado, instalacion adecuada de barras de refuerzo..)
• Coloque el concreto en el encofrado y termine de acuerdo con las texturas especificadas
• Instalar varios sistemas de adoquines, como adoquines de pedestal, adoquines de cama de arena permeables y tradicionales
• Operar equipos para nivelar y preparar el área de trabajo y mover materiales en el lugar de trabajo
• Realizar instalaciones paisajísticas cuando es necesario
• Realizar varias otras tareas asignadas
