Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Maintenance Crew Member to maintain and repair irrigation systems on our commercial landscape properties. You will work outdoors, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure reliable irrigation through valves, sprinklers, pipes, and controls.

Qualifications

• Irrigation system maintenance and repair experience required.
• Landscape lighting experience a plus.
• Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly.
• Ability to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, sprinkler heads, and PVC plumbing.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Repairs and replaces pipes and various sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• May assist in maintenance activities as required.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices.
• Uses hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation duties.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• Must be able and willing to work for long periods outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight).
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
