Crew Member (Bedre Café)
As a Crew Member for Traditions Hospitality Group, you will play a dynamic role in both the front and back of house operations. You’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, supporting kitchen functions, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. Your versatility, teamwork, and dedication will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences that keep our guests coming back.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure the accuracy of all payments.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, assembling dishes, and packaging items for takeout.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas, including dining room, kitchen, and prep stations.
- Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and dispose of waste properly.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of all food products.
- Adhere to established portion control and food presentation standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking and rotating ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance job knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow directions from supervisors.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Presentation and uniform must adhere to established standards at all times, maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
Working Conditions And Physical Effort
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry trays, food, and beverage items.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels and kitchen heat.
