Job summary

Vitality Bowls in Rocky River, OH is seeking team members to support front-of-house and kitchen operations. You will greet guests, take orders, ring up transactions, and help prepare bowls and smoothies in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will memorize training material, explain health benefits of ingredients, maintain a clean lobby and kitchen, and work with others to ensure timely, accurate orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle a basic computer and POS system.
• Excellent customer service and politeness to customers.
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Memorize training and explain health benefits of ingredients to customers in an upbeat and informative manner.
• Keep the front lobby and outside area clean.
• Provide excellent customer service, including being positive and extremely polite and informative, and give accurate wait times.
• Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone.
• Follow recipes and prepare all food in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Prep food according to proper procedures.
• Keep kitchen and lobby clean.
• Stock and rotate food; stock deliveries and keep organized.
• Communicate with staff to ensure orders are made correctly and on time.
• Carry out food to customers.
• Communicate with managers about schedules and days off as needed.
• Show up on time and take breaks appropriately.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
• Adhere to safety procedures.

Requirements

• Become food certified
• Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency
• Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance
• Come to work with a positive attitude, and are willing to work well with others
