Jersey Mike's Subs in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Crew Member to deliver friendly, prompt service while preparing and serving our famous subs. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness and upholding product quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Input orders into the POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Prepare subs and assist the line team according to specifications and safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning tables, floors, utensils and restrooms.
• Communicate with team and management to schedule, train and resolve issues.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and in line with company policy.
• Maintain neat appearance and comply with dress code.

As a Crew Member, you will have the opportunity to join our team of highly skilled and motivated individuals. You will be responsible for providing prompt and friendly service to our customers, exceeding their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction. Your role will involve preparing, packing, and serving our mouthwatering subs, while maintaining the highest level of product quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude
• Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment accurately and quickly
• Work together with the line team to prepare subs to customer specifications, following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness by clearing and wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to create work schedules, train new employees, and resolve any interpersonal issues
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly, resolving problems according to Jersey Mike's standards and policy
• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing the required uniform and adhering to the corporate dress code
