Wendy's in Mayfield, KY is seeking a Crew Member to deliver fast, friendly service and help with food preparation in a busy, high-energy environment.

You will greet customers, take orders, handle payments, and ensure cleanliness and safety in the dining and kitchen areas. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Flexible schedules may include nights, weekends and holidays; prior experience is not required but appreciated.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age (or comply with state-specific labor laws).
• Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and with enthusiasm, assist with menu options, take accurate orders, ensure all orders are processed correctly, address inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Food preparation and quality: Prepare food according to Wendy’s standards, follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures, operate kitchen equipment safely, ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards.
• Cash handling and register operation: Accurately handle cash transactions, process credit/debit payments, provide change and receipts, keep the cash register area clean and organized.
• Team collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors, contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, assist with inventory management and stocking as needed.
• Health and safety compliance: Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and restroom areas, follow proper food handling, storage and sanitation protocols.
• Additional duties: Assist with opening and closing duties, participate in training programs, perform other tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor.

• Ability to stand for extended periods (4‑8+ hours) with periodic breaks.
• Perform repetitive motions, including frequent use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, carrying and operating equipment.

• Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed.
• Occasional sitting, talking and active listening as required.
