General Overview

Crew Members at this website are not operated by Jersey Mike's Franchise Systems. Jersey Mike's restaurants are independently owned and operated franchise locations. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the franchisee. Jersey Mike's will assist with customer needs as they enter and interact in the store. Employees will work the front counter, be responsible for customer service, making sandwiches, and interacting with customers and co-workers. Crew members will also complete other tasks associated with operating a store. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest standards of Jersey Mike's operations.

Principal Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of a Crew Member include:

• Providing food that meets Jersey Mike's specifications and high-quality standards
• Providing service that is above and beyond for the customer
• Maintaining a clean store and workplace
• Setting up the store, including food preparation
• Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Using slicer (18 years old and above only)
• Using tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
• Following directives of the Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Performing vigorous physical tasks, including standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Using food preparation equipment safely for long periods
• Periodic local travel may be required
