The Crew works directly with the Crew Leader and is responsible for work on a crew of two or three crew members. The Crew must work safely, efficiently and to customer satisfaction in accordance with ICARE Values and Thompson Landscape Company policies and protocols.

Hours: Seasonal changes may apply

Start: 07:30 AM M-F

Break: 10:00 AM - 10:10 AM

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM

Break: 2:00 – 2:10 PM

End: 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Represent the companies best interests and always maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
• Follow the instructions of the maintenance Crew Leader.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company polies and Handbook.
• Work with Crew Leaders to efficiently perform the duties of the maintenance crew.
• Report all unsafe conditions and accidents.
• Oversee daily clearing debris and/or garbage from the vehicle bed and interior.
• Report to work on time
• Is a willing learner who seeks to master the basic skill of landscape maintenance.
• Reports to work in a clean appropriate uniform and wearing the appropriate boots.
• Able to communicate with supervisor in a timely and thorough manner.
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently thoroughly and per company production rates.
• Completes continuing education when assigned.

Wage: DOE

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Driver’s License and insurance preferred.
• One year Landscape maintenance experience preferred.
• Minimum of a high school or GED.
• Have a clean criminal record.
• Be eligible to work in the USA.
• Ability be plan proactively and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors and risks and maximize quality, efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Ability to handle the work load of a maintenance crew member.
• Have full range of mobility of upper and lower body.
• Able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Able to respectfully and proactively communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Able to repeatedly lift and shift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
• Able to perform physical labor continuously for up to 10 hours in a variety of changing, sometimes inclement weather conditions.
• Able to safely operate all equipment used in landscape maintenance
