Job summary

Rosati’s Pizza in Des Plaines, IL is looking for a team member to assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks according to Rosati’s Pizza standards. You will assemble pizzas, maintain clean, sanitized work areas, and follow all safety procedures to ensure quality and consistency.

You will support the kitchen during busy periods, manage portions and recipe guidelines, reduce waste, and communicate clearly with staff to ensure accurate orders and excellent customer-focused presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, ingredient portioning, and basic kitchen tasks according to Rosati’s Pizza standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout each shift
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures
• Prepare and assemble pizzas and other menu items accurately and efficiently
• Support the kitchen team during peak times while maintaining quality and speed
• Adhere to recipe specifications, portion sizes, and proper cooking methods
• Handle ingredients and supplies responsibly to reduce waste and prevent shortages
• Be reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth teamwork and accurate orders
• Follow brand guidelines for presentation and customer-focused quality
