Job summary

Five Guys in Buffalo, NY is seeking Crew Members to join our fast-paced restaurant team. You will work across multiple stations, interact with guests, and help deliver a quick, friendly dining experience.

We offer hourly pay of $16.50–$17.50, plus an average of $2 in tips per hour and secret shopper bonuses. Perks include complimentary meals, commuter benefits, insurance, PTO, 401K, referral bonuses, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age preferred or required
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach and lift 50+ pounds for up to 8 hours
• Read, write, and understand basic English

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and assist customers at the counter
• Support grill, dressing, fry, and morning prep areas to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station and dining area

Crew Members

perform essential duties in many different areas within the restaurant, including the cash register area, grill, dressing station, fry station, lobby and morning prep area, and provide friendly, fast and accurate service in order to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Schedule:

• Available to work days and nights
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Available to work a variable schedule, as per the needs of the business

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age preferred but not required
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift 50+ pounds for the duration of your shift (up to 8 hours with scheduled breaks)
• Function in a fast-paced and noisy kitchen environment
• Tolerance to temperature fluctuations
• Work with hazardous substances such as hot oil
• Read, write, speak, and understand basic English
• Communicate clearly
• Use a basic computer system (ex. cash register)
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Adhere to Company's policies and procedures, as well as City, State, and Federal laws and mandates
• Fast casual/ fast food experience (preferred but not required)
