Restaurant Team Member at SONIC Drive-In

The SONIC Drive-In Restaurant Team Member position involves a variety of food service responsibilities. You will work in areas such as Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer, Switchboard, and Drive-Thru (if applicable). Our Restaurant Team Member is at the heart of the food service experience.

Responsibilities may include:

• Taking orders and making accurate changes quickly
• Providing enthusiastic food service to guests
• Packaging menu items and ensuring product quality and consistency
• Preparing drinks and ice cream treats
• Cooking on the grill and operating the fry station as needed
• Cleaning the restaurant, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, dishwashing, wiping counters, and sanitizing food areas

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations
• Resilience and willingness to learn from mistakes
• Ability to multi-task and switch between tasks easily
• Team-oriented mindset and helpful attitude
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Effective communication skills, basic math, and reading skills
• Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
