Job summary

CEPRA Landscape is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee commercial landscape maintenance across sites in Florida. You will lead crewmembers, organize daily tasks, and coach the team on safety and efficient workmanship.

The role requires a Florida driver’s license, strong leadership, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather on 10-hour shifts (Mon–Thu). The position offers hands-on work with mowers, pruning, planting, mulching, and other maintenance tasks, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record.
• Experience in commercial landscape maintenance or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• English communication skills required (Spanish a plus).
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather; Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate crewmembers to complete landscape maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Organize and prioritize tasks by following production plans, ensuring proper sequencing and deadlines.
• Train and coach team members on techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with management by providing timely updates on site progress and potential hazards.
• Perform hands-on maintenance work including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching and other tasks.
• Inspect jobs regularly with punch list items and quality control.
• Monitor and provide preventive maintenance on equipment to keep tools, trucks, and power equipment in safe working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.

Our Crew Leaders play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional landscape maintenance across commercial properties. They lead and motivate their teams, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of quality.

Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr-$23.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate crewmembers to complete all landscape maintenance tasks, safely and efficiently

• Inspect jobs regularly with identifying with punch list items and quality control
• Monitor and provide preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure tools, trucks and power equipment are in safe, working condition
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations adhering to company safety policies and program
