The Landscape Construction Crew Leader directly supervises crew members, installing a wide range of landscape items such as pavers, walls, structures, and plants. The crew leader works alongside team members to provide leadership, experience, and skills to deliver quality work and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include interacting with customers, ensuring team safety, and project success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of 2-3 team members daily.
- Complete documentation of time and materials used daily.
- Complete projects within budget and on schedule.
- Lead by example and foster team skill development.
- Uphold professionalism aligned with company core values.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicle and equipment.
- Properly care for and maintain all assigned equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 3 years of combined experience in hardscapes installation and landscape construction.
- NCMA/ICPI training certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience managing multiple team members.
- Good knowledge of industry equipment.
- Ability to read scaled drawings and perform math calculations.
- Skill in using site levels for grading and elevation measurements.
- Good communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a qualifying MVR.
- Professional, positive demeanor and interaction with customers and team members.
Working Conditions:
- Typically Monday to Friday, 7:15 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with some Saturdays during peak season.
