Job summary

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Crew Leader I in Line Maintenance. The incumbent supervises a work crew and performs skilled work involved in the installation, maintenance & repair of collection & distribution systems. Operates equipment & a variety of power/hand tools. HS Grad or equivalent; must possess Class C water & wastewater certification from the OK State DEQ with valid CDL Class A, type N tank vehicle endorsement & be insurable.

Qualifications

• HS Grad or equivalent is required.
• OK State DEQ Class C water & wastewater certification required.
• Valid CDL Class A with Tank Vehicle endorsement and insurability are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises work crew in line maintenance projects.
• Performs skilled work in installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Operates equipment and a range of power/hand tools.

Prev. exp. pref. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
