The City of Longview is seeking skilled and semi-skilled general laborers to maintain streets, water and sewer systems, parks and facilities. You will lead crews, operate equipment, and ensure safety compliance on all work sites.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least three years of experience operating maintenance equipment; a Texas Class A CDL may be needed for certain assignments. This is a full-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and three years experience operating specialized vehicles and maintenance equipment.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License; Class A CDL is required for some assignments.
• May be required to obtain Certified Operator status for specialized equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled labor and maintenance tasks for City infrastructure, facilities, and grounds.
• Lead and coordinate work crews; assign staff, vehicles and equipment; monitor safety and quality standards.
• Operate a variety of equipment and vehicles and maintain records and reports as required.
• Provide customer service and respond to questions within scope of authority.
