Job summary

Valor Environmental is hiring a Full-Time Crew Leader to direct construction and landscaping crews in Texas, ensuring safe, high-quality work and efficient site management.

The role requires leadership experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Weekend and extended hours may be needed, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews in construction or landscaping.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily crew operations, including site setup, material management, safety enforcement, and quality control.
• Interact with clients on site to ensure work is performed to standard.
• Reinforce company culture through attire, communication, and work ethic.
• Maintain materials and tools to minimize waste and ensure readiness.
• Operate heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) safely.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping)

Salary range: $20 - $22/h

Job Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts of crew work for the day’s events (driving to site, management of materials, quality of work, sign off on inspection reports, communication in field, care of materials and tools, managing overtime, illustrating safety measures, etc.)
• Interacts with clients on site to assure work is done
• Crew leader reinforces company culture with crew (attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude)
• Assures that job materials are well kept, maintained and utilized without waste
• Operates heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) and truck/trailer safely. Abides by all applicable laws/regulations.
• Demonstrates organization and electronic usage capability (i.e. using phone, computers, etc.)
• Crew leader will complete all required paperwork and submissions accurately and timely
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
