A local government agency in Killeen, Texas is seeking a Crew Leader to oversee the daily operations of the line services team. This role includes training technicians and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership skills and experience in aviation fuel service operations. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the line services team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality ground support services for all aircraft and customers. This role includes coordinating fueling, towing, and ground handling operations, enforcing compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and providing exceptional customer service to pilots, passengers, and tenants. The Crew Leader trains, mentors, and evaluates team members, under the direction of the Line Service Supervisor, and communicates effectively with other departments to maintain seamless operational workflows. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a culture of safety and professionalism are essential for success in this position.

Education & Experience:
comply with the City of Killeen driving policy; * Employee must pass a FBI fingerprint-based background check by date-of-hire; * Employee must pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) by date-of-hire; * Employee may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts; * Must have successfully completed an aviation fuel training course in fire safety which is acceptable to the FAA as meeting the requirements of 14 CFR Part 139.321(e)(1) or must successfully complete such a course within ninety (90) days of employment.
Computer with word processing and spreadsheet software, copier, fax machine, aviation radios, fuel truck, de-ice machine, ground power unit, tow tractor, baggage loader, bulk fuel storage facility, motor vehicles, and other equipment as required.
