Description

Monarch Landscape Management is seeking a dependable and experienced Crew Leader to join our growing team in Houston, TX. As a Crew Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading a landscape maintenance crew, ensuring high-quality service, safety, and efficiency on every job site. This is a hands-on role that combines field work with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–5 team members on daily maintenance and landscape enhancement projects
• Ensure jobs are completed on time, to Monarch’s standards, and with high client satisfaction
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety procedures
• Operate and train others on landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers
• Communicate clearly with Production Managers and Account Managers regarding job progress, delays, or issues
• Perform quality checks on work performed and provide feedback to the crew
• Track materials and time spent on each job using mobile software (training provided)
• Represent Monarch professionally at all times when interacting with clients or the public

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of landscape experience; leadership experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving record (required for driving company vehicle - 23 years or older)
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Compensation

$23 - $27 hourly
