Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a production professional to support extrusion operations, ensuring safety, first-quality output, and timely line set-ups. You will read and interpret production data, train operators, and prepare for changeovers while maintaining tools and materials for the team. Overtime may be required on short notice.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment and requires adherence to SOPs and safety policies to drive consistent production performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintainsafety policies and standards.
• Ensure first quality for all processes.
• Perform line readings to ensure machine setup is correct.
• Fill in for extrusion operators.
• Train and coach extrusion operators.
• Ensure operators have necessary tools and supplies.
• Complete production reports.
• Prepare for product changeovers and communicate with shift leaders.
• Work overtime on short notice.

• Comply withall safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred oran equivalentcombination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to read and write.
• Display andexhibitleadership abilities.
• Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs.Must be able to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasksin accordance withschedule needs
