Job description

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader and Driver. Our business is growing fast and we offer great long-term opportunities for the right candidates. Must be able to manage a crew of up to 4 landscape technicians, lift 80 lbs., work outdoors and be able to train and oversee employees to company performance standards. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and experience in landscape installation. Career growth opportunities are available for the right candidates. Must have valid Texas Driver License and a good driving record, bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drainage system installation
  • Irrigation System Installations
  • Landscape installation- Shrubs, flower beds, sod, trees, hardscapes
  • Willing to work in varying weather conditions
  • Drive crew to and from job sites
  • Supervise crew and direct activities on the job site
  • Ensure standards are maintained (minimum) and surpassed (expected)
  • Communicate production goals with team members
  • Ensure that crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow extreme safety guidelines
  • Ensure that all equipment handling, and maintenance procedures are followed
  • Interact with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Driver license
  • Knowledge of plant materials and landscape installation
  • Communicate effectively with crew members.
  • Must be able to operate a mid-size truck, and learn to operate motorized equipment
  • Work effectively with office personnel and team members
  • Punctual, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks without immediate supervision.
  • Available to work weekends and extra hours during the Spring Season
  • Pass background check and drug test
