Crew Leader – Hydroline, Woodbine District (Bryan, Texas)

We are seeking a Crew Leader to oversee and lead their shift while on pumping jobs. When on rig up and rig down projects, they will lead a crew and carry out tasks assigned by supervision. Duties will fluctuate between pumping jobs and rig up & rig down projects. The role requires leadership, guidance, and mentorship of employees while executing operational goals. Quality & safety are focal points.

Essential Functions

• Participate in rig up & rig down meetings and ensure full understanding of the plan to properly communicate to the team.
• Oversee traffic control crews, source & location crews, and frac crews.
• Constantly communicate with assigned supervision on progress, changes, and needs for executing project plan.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards, including pre‑shift tailgate meetings, JSA’s, equipment inspections, checklists, etc.
• Execute work to the highest standard while meeting customer expectations and ensuring safety and compliance.
• Consistently evaluate team members’ performance and provide necessary feedback for enhancement or improvement.

Qualifications

• One year of experience and/or equivalent training in water transfer services.
• Current driver’s license allowing operation of a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
• Current safety certifications preferred, including PEC, H2S, forklift, first aid/CPR.
• Excellent communication skills to safely and efficiently complete job tasks with team members.
• Lead by example, teach, motivate, and mentor team members, and execute daily goals.
• Drive a culture where equipment and work are organized, clean, and presentable.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Tasks frequently require use of hands or fingers; handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Noise level is usually moderate to high. Consistent outdoor work in elements/weather. Work schedule varies according to demands of job assignments.
