Job Description

The General Tree Care Team are the muscle of our operation. These industrial athletes work together to provide high-quality tree care, helping to maintain and preserve the overall health of our clients' landscapes.

This position pays up to $25/hr depending on experience, with paid PTO, benefits, and a 401K plan.

Position Details

The Crew Lead position is an advanced role for individuals demonstrating leadership qualities and approved by local management to direct a work crew. Knowledge areas include: TCIA Crew Leader Training, Crew and Personal Safety, Hazard Recognition, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks
• Operate equipment safely and provide excellent client service

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices for various trees
• Ability to identify tree and shrub species
• Climb without spurs
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts
• Knowledge of ANSI standards and tree species-specific techniques
• Ability to perform aerial rescue if needed

Essential Qualifications

• Desire to work outdoors
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL a plus
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
