Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 3 years of roadway maintenance or construction experience.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana Class D driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise crews and manage schedules, reports, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Superintendents to determine projects and maintain roadways.
• Supervise crews, schedule activities, monitor performance and attendance.
• Communicate safety procedures and inspect worksites and equipment.
• Inventories and orders supplies; review records and prepare reports.
• Operate and supervise use of vehicles and heavy equipment as needed.
• Provide training to new employees and assist with on-site coordination and emergency duties.
