Job summary

Zaxby’s is seeking energetic restaurant management personnel in a fast-paced, fast-casual setting. The role requires a flexible schedule with nights and weekends, and a focus on guest satisfaction and team leadership.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, 2–3 years of management/shift leadership, and a high school education or equivalent. Prior restaurant experience is preferred and you will help develop staff and maintain store standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of 30–40+ hours per week.
• Flexible schedule; nights and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on stations training and guest service delivery.
• Greet guests warmly, manage orders, and ensure accuracy at POS.
• Explain menu items and promote promotions to guests.
• Lead crew on each shift and balance daily tasks and checklists.
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming dining areas and store.
• Schedule staff and monitor labor costs to meet budgets.

Responsibilities:

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities and complete all training requirements including:

• Zaxby’s Front of House Development Plan


• Hands-on stations training


• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests


• Promptly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave


• Maintain awareness of current promotions


• Explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items


• Enthusiastically represent the Zaxby’s brand


• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions


• Enter guest orders accurately into the point of sale system


• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts


• Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriately


• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment


• Clean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exterior


• Maintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs


• Stock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages


• Keep work areas clean and organized


• Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders

Capabilities Requirement:

• Lead crew and personnel on each shift, including cashiers and cooks.
