Job summary

Global Environmental and Industrial Response seeks a responsible leader to head a team delivering environmental and industrial services in the Tampa area. You will ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and effective job execution across sites.

The role requires hands-on supervision, scheduling, and training of staff, with opportunities to advance through leadership development; the job includes night/day shifts and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience managing and scheduling employees for industrial/environmental services.
• Industrial/plant setting experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills across all levels.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor manual work.
• Work around confined spaces and elevated heights; respirator use may be required.
• May be on-call for emergency response; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure equipment/tools are ready for each job.
• Lead Pre-con Meeting and complete a Job Hazard Analysis before starting.
• Review job packs/dailies and forward to admin daily.
• Provide technical expertise in heavy equipment and industrial services; fill in as needed.
• Train new employees on job-related skills.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Participate in 1 hour per month of leadership training.
