Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking a Crew Chief to conduct land surveys across North Carolina using robotic surveying equipment and field apps for data collection and communication with the office.

You will perform new home staking, topographic and as-built surveys, operate robotic instruments, and collaborate with builders and engineers. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and excellent attention to detail. Travel as needed within NC is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience.
• Proficiency with robotic surveying equipment and GPS technology preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage field tasks with accuracy.

As a Crew Chief, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys in diverse environments. You will utilize state-of-the-art equipment, robotic surveying equipment, and a cell phone equipped with specialized apps for data collection and communication with the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform new home construction staking.

• Complete as-built survey work.
• Operate robotic surveying equipment.
• Must have robotic experience.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate/GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in operating robotic surveying equipment and GPS technology preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret surveying data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently.
• Residential construction experience is highly preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
