Job summary

DCCM Infrastructure Inc. in Texas seeks a Crew Chief to lead field survey teams, perform ALTA/ACSM, route and topographic surveys, and support project managers. Travel to sites and ensure QA/QC, data processing, and timely delivery.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years of survey experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with TXDOT standards. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential; safety-first mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Company's field survey team in the field and supervises additional staff members assisting in survey assignments.
• Performs surveys such as ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Staking and Transportation projects.
• Performs complex surveying calculations using engineering calculator, laptop, and geometry software.
• Adheres to QA/QC procedures and notetaking.
• Follows work orders from project managers.
• Drives Company vehicle to and from worksites.
• Reviews and follows project scope, keeping files organized.
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely fashion, maintains company standards.

Our Survey team has a need for a Crew Chief to join their team. In this role you will travel to survey sites and perform quality checks, basic engineering design duties, data processing, and analysis while assisting in the performance of field work and serve as the Survey Crew Chief.

What you will do:

• Leads the Company's field survey team in the field and supervises additional staff members assisting in survey assignments.
• Performs the following types of surveys: ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Staking and Transportation projects for both public and private clients.
• Performs complex surveying calculations using engineering calculator, laptop computer, and coordinate geometry software.
• Adheres to QA/QC procedures and notetaking.
• Follows work orders from project managers.
• Proficiency with Leica GPS and Robotic Total Stations.
• Drives Company vehicle to and from worksites.
• Reviews and follows project scope, keeping all project information and electronic files well organized.
• Completes all assigned tasks in a timely fashion, be diligent in field procedures and always maintain company standards.
