Job summary

AMC Theatres invites you to join as a crew member, helping create a blockbuster guest experience. You’ll greet guests, sell snacks, check tickets, and keep theaters spotless while you rotate through roles and learn new skills.

You'll use the POS system to process transactions, upsell, and sign up loyalty cards. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is valued, and training is provided to help you shine in a fast-paced, fun environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability.
• Willing to complete required training and certifications.

The compensation range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets based on business needs.The compensation for this position is: $18.45 per hour - $18.95 per hourWhat You’ll Be DoingGreet guests with a smile and create memorable moments—whether you’re popping popcorn or helping with a guest concern, you’ll listen actively and communicate clearly.Use AMC’s POS system to handle transactions with speed, accuracy, and a smile.Engage in awesome sales techniques (suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising) to boost the guest experience and loyalty card sign-ups.Prepare tasty treats safely and efficiently—because what’s a movie without popcorn?Keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming.Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials.Check tickets and direct guests to their auditorium with a helpful and friendly attitude.Help enforce the movie rating system in a way that’s respectful and clear.Monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy.Assist with opening and closing duties so every shift starts fresh and ends strong.Jump in to support fellow crew members when needed—teamwork makes the movie magic happen.Help create an inclusive environment to ensure everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.Adherence to AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including black non-slip shoes, black pants, an AMC provided shirt (where applicable), and any items required by local regulations.Maintain a professional and positive demeanor—our team values fun, respect, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.Uphold AMC’s standards by adhering to all Company Policies and Procedures.What We Need From YouMust be at least 14 years of age.No experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know!The role requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability.
