Onward Ventures LLC dba Tropical Smoothie Cafe is hiring for the role of Crew Member in Akron, Ohio. The position is open to friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy food and creating enjoyable customer experiences. Crew Members can work full-time or part-time, and will be involved in preparing fresh food and smoothies while maintaining a clean and organized café.

Requirements

• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers. Safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment. To keep our cashiers as safe as possible, we've installed clear plastic barriers, and provided masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

Working Conditions

• Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary.
• Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
• Fun, fast-paced, upbeat environment with NO FRYERS.
